Two very different days in Winchester. On Wednesday 28th, we welcomed 85 year 1 and 2s into the cathedral and on Thursday 29th, a small group of just 30 year 8s.
Both groups were focused and gained more understanding of the issues behind child rights. The children on Wednesday enjoyed working in the mill scene so much, that I had to remind them constantly that it wasn't somewhere that children would have enjoyed being, but more so a place of ill health and being forced to do dangerous jobs.
On Thursday, the young people really raised the stakes taking roles in the performance usually done by the World To Rights team. Lance, Jamie, Kate, Rebecca and Cassey all showed great ability to improvise and create roles themselves - well done guys!
