This morning the CMS Youth and Children's team accompanied Neema dancers from Tanzania into first of all Oxford Community School and then back to the CMS offices to work with two more primary schools. You can imagine 9am in a secondary school on a Monday morning and all these brightly dressed dancers, with drums, percussion and amazing rhythm and energy blew everyone away. It was also powerfully interspersed with testimonies from individuals from Neema who had lost their hearing at school and had become outcasts because of it with Little hope of work. Neema has provided them with an income and developed skills in them they may not have
otherwise realised. It was also great to hear how Susie Hart had studied art and wanted to use it to serve God and the poor. Her husband Andy is a vet so perhaps more expected and useful in a mission situation, but Neema crafts has become a testimony to show how God has used Susies artistic skills in a very effective and pragmatic way.
