This week will be another concerted effort to get around the cathedrals for the second time to firm up all the practical details for free for all. Last week I visited Portsmouth and had a good meeting with Rosemary Fairfax the education officer. It just so happened that Extreme Cellists were doing their own cathedral tour of 42 cathdrals in 12 days. As fellow cathedral sojourners we exchanged emails and it turned out that one of them is an archivist in Birmingham and may be able to help us with some slavery links in Birmingham. This week we will be visiting Birmingham, Chichester, Southwark, Chelmsford and Peterborough and the tour is sill 6 months away. If you want to follow the Cellists around the UK then you can also get up to news thoughts and reports on their blog
