Down To Earth enjoyed its first day in action yesterday at Macaulay C of E Primary School, Clapham. We had 22 year 6 pupils who tried out the new material and really showed us what they could do.
Together, we explored what climate change is all about, and created three big scenes to show different aspects of the issue. At the end of the day, the children put on a performance for the rest of the school to enjoy, showing them life in China and the factories that produce all our 'stuff' - then they showed a futuristic museum of endangered and extinct animals which included humans!
The performance finished with a song/rap that the children created, inspiring others to do something positive for the planet. A big thank you to Matt Parker who helped us throughout the day and encouraged the children to do their best. Pictures can be found here.
