She has arrived
At 12 39am on Saturday 18th Nov, baby girl Pollendine arrived in St Thomas' hospital. I cannot begin to explain the joy and agony of this experience. Irfana was taken into hospital on Thursday evening and after many contractions and yells of push Baby Zara arrived early Saturday morning. This picture was taken immediately after the birth. Irfana will be kept in hospital until Monday for observation but is doing very well. Check out some more pictures on my flikr account.
Heard from Zoe & Dom the wonderful news at June & Graham's house warming. So happy for the two of you -- Zara looks like an absolute doll! Irfana you look exhausted after all that hard work so I hope you get lots of rest and attention. Well done on both of you for producing such a lovely little girl.
I can't wait to meet Zara, and to take up that promise of taking her for a walk in the park nearby while her Mummy & Daddy take a well deserved nap. See you soon.
